Disney's Goofy Visits Pluto: A Book About the Planets By Cathy East Dubowski |
Enjoying his new telescope so much that he misunderstands Mickey's invitation to visit Pluto, Goofy falls into an adventurous daydream on the porch swing in which he and Mickey zoom off into the stars.
I purchased this book from the book sale at my younger sister's elementary school. I found it to be very informative about the solar system, and entertaining at the same time. It uses popular disney characters to teach children. This book would be a great opening to a unit on the Solar System, reguardless of the age level. |

A Goofy Movie By Francine Hughes |
Goofy wants to spend time with his son, Max. So he decides to take him on a fishing trip. Adventure in the great outdoors...All that fresh air...What could be better? A fishing trip with his dad isn't exactly Max's idea of fun. He knows that it could be a disaster--especially since everything Goofy does turns out wrong. And with all that nature, something bad is sure to happen. What could be worse? But neither of them knows just how strange the trip will be. What with the side trips to Lester's Possum Park and a run-in with Big Foot, anything can happen. And it probably will when Goofy and Max hit the road.

Disney's Read-It-Yourself Storybook |
Here are six easy-to-read stories featuring Mickey, Donald, and the whole Disney gang all contained in one big volume. Sure to make a child's first independent reading experience a memorable one.
Disney's Read-it-yourself Storybook provides kids with a fun set of six stories which are really easy to read for first time readers. Each has Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and friends in a funny setting with a little suprise in each story to keep young readers interested. Very recommended - we've read it at bedtime before my son could read well, and now that he can, we've gone back to it several times. |

Goofy : The Good Sport |
From his humble origins as a fan in the stands in the 1932 Mickey Mouse cartoon "Mickey's Revue" to his introduction as Dippy Dawg to his evolution to Disney's most versatile animated character, the book traces Goofy's development over the years. During the 40's and 50's, Goofy trailed only Donald Duck in frequency of appearances in Disney cartoons, and he was even "borrowed" by the U.S. Armed Forces to help make training and safety films! The book is loaded with comic strips from the 30's and 40's, and also features a complete chronology of all of Goofy's films. There's even a chapter dedicated to merchandise spawned by his character! (Note that this is a real book, not a comic book, although it is heavily laced with animation.
